Nothing better than products that are good for the environment and your body. YUNI is great at making sure you smell delightful and feel clean all the time. After workouts, on long flights, or just as a midday refresh; I always have the wipes and spray in my bag.

MOONLIT // skincare while you sleep

Created by an amazing woman, who also happens to be a dear friend, MoonLit is skin care that makes sleep just as important as the products (Y’all know I’m obsessed with sleep, right?)  

Made in Bali mostly by women who are supporting their families, MOONLIT is also vegan and cruelty-free. Even more cool, a portion of every purchase goes towards the Griffith Observatory. Supporting people, the planet, and science…while improving your beauty and sleep quality? Winning.

FRE // skin care for the active

Day to day, especially during the summer, I’m out in the sun and sweating all day long. That natural glow doesn’t mean I want to leave my skin out in the elements. FRE is made for women (or men) who work out, specifically so, in fact. The moisturizer also has an SPF. The three-part skin care system I find to be great to get my day going, and the wash is great in the evening before I put on my sleep specific items aforementioned. 

FRE is green, vegan, and was developed for active skin. They also plant an Argan tree for every skincare set purchased, which makes me very happy. 

Nutiva Coconut Oil // coconut oil and then some

Now that my nails have finally been brought back to life by Paintbox NYC, their gel polish is breathable… meaning I can rub all the coconut oil I want into them and it will still nourish my natural nails. Amazing. 

Though not the only reason I love this coconut oil. Nutiva has one of the best missions and “mini-festos” out there in terms of being sustainable and seeking to revolutionize a food system that has let us all down. Acknowledge one’s social and environmental responsibility is an incredible thing for any company to do. 

I use this coconut oil for my nails and skin, but I use it cooking and baking! Having been in the sustainable foods movement for years now, I love foods that are good to eat and good to think. Native fits the bill, and coconut oil is not only delicious but incredibly healthy to cook and bake with.
