// Jeans for the #PowerofShe

#PowerofShe #Sponsored with love by Athleta.

As many of you recall, there was a time I was doing yoga any and every where. I believed that yoga did not fit in a stereotyped box and it was time we looked at yoga as a lifestyle for every body and any body. On top of yoga, I’m also an avid weight lifter and am an active woman who likes to be comfortable in my clothes. However, I rarely wear tights outside of the gym and am always looking for jeans or other items of clothing that I can wear around the city, traveling, running to meetings, or meeting up with friends.

I recently gave the Athleta Sculptek jeans and tops a run around NYC. The jeans were fitted without being overly tight, and had enough stretch to move with me. And these jeans are long enough for me! I prefer jeans to be long and then I can add in a french cuff if I’d like (I’m 5’8” and maybe a half, shh.) They are made with innovative technology that is supportive and holds you in, but also allows for a full range of motion. I imagine these would be great for hiking, city walking warriors, or just running all the errands that all of us have to do on a day to day basis.

The tops were just as comfy and cozy with stretch and breathable fabric. I’m a hug fan of mock turtlenecks, and these are perfect for layering.

Athleta is always here for empowering women to be the strong, capable, and wonderful creatures we are with clothing options that fit our lives. When we have clothing that is comfortable, we free up lots of mental energy to go about being the best version of ourselves and remain present in whatever our lives might bring us. Uncomfortable clothing makes us hyper aware of our bodies. But when your body feels good and your clothing allows you to be you, you’re open to feel joy and live.

Hit the link above or here to check out the collection for yourself. I’m a big fan of Athleta for quality but also because they have an entire section of clothing that is better for traveling or even casual offices, yet has the feel and comfort of activewear. Check out their Commute/Work section or the Travel section. Best believe I’m about to cop the cashmere jumpers for a cozy winter season ahead.
